Your account is created once you purchase your singing assessment. After purchase through our secure gateway you can upload your MP3 or WAV sound file to your account space. A Singshop vocal coach will get back to you within 1-5 days with a full assessment of your voice, strengths and weaknesses and advice on further exercises/ lessons where relevant.
No it doesn\'t but ideally it will be unaccompanied. This means that we can hear exactly what is going on in your voice and where you may need help. Uploaded performances can be in MP3 or WAV format.
Even if you consider yourself a technological clutz the recording and uploading process for your Singshop files is straightforward.
Record your Singing Evaluation onto your DVR, upload the file to your computer then to your Singshop account where it will be listened to by one of our coaches.
Record your Singing Evaluation on your computer recording programme* with a USB microphone. After recording the file needs to be saved in MP3 or WAV format, then uploaded to your Singshop account where it will be listened to by one of our coaches.
* Recording programmes can be downloaded free of charge for personal use.
You may already have recordings of your singing available for upload. Ideally these should be accompanied but this is not essential, so long as the voice is clear and sufficiently audible for evaluation. Upload your recording to your Singshop account where it will be listened to by one of our coaches.
Please ensure that your computer has a media player installed. Windows Media and Real Player are suitable for playback of your evaluation and lessons.
Occasionally your coach may need to send video files for breathing and posture demonstrations. Again, these can be played through Windows Media and Real Player.
You will receive a thorough and professional evaluation from us. We have yet to encounter a student who cannot sing.
We advise that you complete your block of four lessons within six weeks of purchase. This commitment ensures that you are consolidating the technique featured in your lessons and that your learning is maximised. After the block of four lessons you will receive an evaluation from your voice coach on your progress.
